Currently happening in the little kittyrobot home:

Lots of orders, for Kittyrobot on ETSY, as well as our new KITTYROBOT MADE IT store, which is going awesome, rushing them all so they make it to their destination for Christmas (and I hear talk of an Australia post strike next week, please cross fingers that doesnt happen!!!)

Custom colorways are my fave, because its fun to make different color schemes of the same old button, every once in a while! its a nice change!

Once again this year, these little babies prove to be one of the top 3 sellers in the shop.
I love making them, so it all works out lol.

These storybook rings, fresh to the store, as of, about an hour ago <3

Slowly building up the stock of handcast Resin Kittyrobot buttons, for their arrival and upload to the shop at the start of 2010.

These are hand cast with resin, everything from the mold is entirely handmade by me, they take a while to make, with all the resin mixing, embedding, layering, and waiting for it to all set, but they look adorable, and will be so cool to see on projects, scrapbook layouts, and sewn goods.
what do you guys think??

and while playing with the resin, ive made a few personal pull charm rings for my blythe girls, the exact style and shape of the one they come with, only these are glittered and sprinkle embedded and sweeter :)

some other going - ons which i cant share right now, but, time to get back into the busy stuf!!

Hope everyone is having a great december.

Isnt december the most fun month of the year?!

I love it, all the christmas stuff in the shops, everybody all excited, getting to buy presents for people you love, and doing festive things, parties, lunches, you get the idea!

The trees have gone UP.

The babies have had their photo shoot.

So this past weekend we had our family christmas lunch, it works for us to have it early, so work, and other commitments dont spoil it, and everybody can come!

We had it here at my house, it was pink and green theme, and went awesome.

We did the big lunch thing, then the present thing, it was so much fun, and everybody loved their presents, so that was nice. I got a tad bit spoilt by them all,

and i feel so lucky, got a few presents off the wish list, and a few ive been eyeing off for ages!

Like the M-cups. Ive wanted them for months after seeing them at westfield, but kept working out excuses not to buy them, i mean i have two other pink cute sets of cups in the house but these are too cute, im lucky that somebody bought them for me :) now i dont need excuses not to have them hehe.

Now that its all done, we can spend christmas day being bums on the beach, and having a little picnic, and not have to go crazy and stress for the rest of the month, perfect for me!!

One thing Im looking forward to on christmas day is to open and debox this awesome present:

I sorta know what it is already, its a new blythe girl "mitten" one of my dream dollies. i managed to find a super sweet deal on a nude mitten, so im excited, it was so awesome, when i showed it to ayesha, she purchased it for me for christmas, but, since it arrived she had it wrapped right away so i havnt been able to check it out, you would have no idea how hard that is knowing its here and not being able to see, but itll make christmas day special and exciting!

and who knows what else actual cristmas will hold!

Tomorrow we are heading to the hunter valley gardens with my aunty, and cousins to see the light show, over 1million lights, and all special stuff going on its going to be magical (haha)

while we are talking about christmas, i found this cute quiz on katies blog, and thought id do it also :)

wedding Porn.

I have been in love with wedding style blogs for so long now.
Especially two in particular:

Offbeat Bride, and Rock and roll Bride
.

Some of the weddings shown are just so original, amazing and beautiful!

I have so many plans for my wedding, when it happens some day (hopefully, if the laws decide to change, hah)
and I know I want it to be original, different and a little quirky!
I mean you only get married once right?! (well sure some get married a 2nd time, maybe even 3rd or more, but, its always the first one that is the big special one, if you get married a 2nd or more well you dont really need a big wedding right?!)

anyway, I wanna share a few pics of some AMAZING wedding inspiration pictures, I hope you enjoy :)

I created this little canvas for a Buzz and Bloom design team challenge.
It was an awesome color challenge, and some of my fave colors to work with!!

To go with the bright, I decided to do a canvas on Ayeshas Dunnies.

She collects them, they are 3 inch vinyl art toys, by alot of amazing artists, each one is so unique, I love them also.
The collection shares the living room with us :)

I used a ton of buzz and bloom products, as well as other bits and pieces like thickers, much like a staple in my work lol, some pieces of fabric and papers, sewn along, as well as some kittyrobot buttons!

Just a quick share, if you want to see more, check out the buzz and bloom blog :)

Hope your week is off to a good start!

This week so far has been a pretty awesome week!

SUNDAY: was our market stall, it was so much fun, super hot day, luckily we got one of those stand up gazebos the day before!
We sold a ton, made some nice cash, and got to talk to customers irl, which was nice.
It was so awesome seeing them walking around in jewellery they had bought from us at kittyrobot.
Ayeshas mum also sold a ton so it was a great day.

I found some good new treasures too, a new typwriter for the family, thats 7 now.
Some old polaroid film, 2xboxes, 2xboxes of flash bulbs and the land camera, all packed brand new in the box.

Im pretty sure the film wont work as its no doubt been treated bad in newcastle heat, in some cupboard somewhere, but, it was worth a shot.
A vintage japanese doll, and a few other treats, were found. Fun day!

Monday night, was one of the best nights of my life.
Seeing a band i have loved for close to 10 years of my life! They broke up a few years ago, but they did this one Australian tour, as they never came here back in the day. It basically was the lead singer, with his new band, doing songs of the old band - MEST!

hehe post concert gross sweaty photo - dont you love the photo editing skills on this?!

the show was SUPER SMALL, and about 5 minutes from my house, it could not of been more perfect. We were on the front all the show, the crowd was tiny and fun except for a few punks, the band played late, as tony the singer, had been throwing up all day long and before the show (and did so right after and almost during lol)
And he came out afterwards to meet and greet the few that wanted to meet him, we had chats, and photos, and he was just the most lovely guy in the world.
SO. AWESOME.
They even played all my top3 fave songs, including one verse of my most fave song by them ever, which was special :)

Wednesday - was a day trip down to sydney, to see MAMMA MIA, Ive only ever been to one show before, and it was Edward scissorhands, so i wasnt too sure id like it.
I mean im not a fan of ABBA, and didnt know what to expect.
Well I loved it, it was amazing. The singers were so good, and costumes, dancers, story etc, all were pretty awesome. Glad i went, even though the whole bus down and back seemed like it took forever!!

Thursday, which would be today - we went and saw new moon..
I had looked forward to this for the longest time, even pre booked tickets months ago.
The movie was ok, sort of good, but not amazing like i had thought it would be.

The movie seemed kind of slow moving, alot of parts were just tacky, and corny, and the way they did the aparicions was just lame.

The warewolves, even though computer generated, looked pretty cute - not scary at all but cute. I liked those the best.
Oh and jacob was very buff, he did a great job getting into character, and its nice to see his bad long hair gone.
Id say it was a 5 out of 10, kinda wished it was better, but it was ok!

So add in a tuesday that I wont bore you by blogging about, and thats my week so far.

Hope you guys are all having a fun week too :) two weeks till my family christmas, almost all presents are bought and the food sorted, so bring it on :)

xx
